We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Chef (Permanent Full Time or Part Time)

About the Role

With a choice of either Full Time or Part Time hours, this opportunity will be highly sought after within the industry. Considering relocation? If you like a small country town feel but with everything you'll need within arms reach then this could be the opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing high quality, well presented meals for a variety of clientele.
  • Undertake and supervise daily food preparation in response to service requirements.
  • Provide input to menu changes and seasonal specials.
  • Quality checks on food prepared and stocked.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and pantry.
  • Work respectfully within a team to ensure efficiency.
  • Utilise technology to monitor and manage orders and diners.

About You

The right person will flourish in this environment. You will have great communication skills to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, along with a willingness to learn, to train and to grow within the organization.

Desirable experience, qualifications and skills include:

  • A minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery.
  • A passion for food, produce and presentation.
  • A good understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking methods across a variety of styles.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a small team environment and adapt to flow of demand.
  • A sound understanding of food safety, HACCP & safety in the workplace.
  • Experience catering for food related allergies and restrictions.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts as per opening times and rostered requirements.
